CLEAN UP CAMPAIGN – for clean and healthy environment

Clean-up Campaign is going-on from 9th September, 2024 across project areas; Solukhumbu, Khotang, Kavreplanchwok, Achham and Kalikot districts. This 20-day initiative is going to be accomplished on 29th September, 2024. We have already carried out fifteen campaigns and collected about 4.8 tons of wastes – 160 bags of each 30 litres. More campaigns are already under schedule. The waste retrieved from the local communities and schools comprises plastics, papers, abandoned and food packaging materials, glass, electronic gadget wastes and others.

This campaign is the initiation of Help Alliance and is conducted in close cooperation with respective local governments.

We are thrilled to collaborate with Help Alliance on this meaningful cause. We believe that this campaign has inspired local schools and communities to adopt better waste management practices, fostering lasting habits that benefit both people and the environment. This effort is particularly important for schools, where children grow and develop in cleaner, more positive environments.

Our hope is that every child who participates in this campaign will emerge as a true champion of sanitation thereafter.
