Sustainable Tree Crop (Aug 2017 – Jul 2019)

The programme has been implemented since 1st August, 2017 as a continuos program of Sustainable Tree Crop implemented in 2012, with financial support of The Glacier Trust (TGT), UK (, in Deusa and Waku VDCs of Solukhumbu District. The project aims to promote sustainable rural livelihoods through the promotion of agro-forestry, tree cropping with enhanced links for marketing of the produce. The overall goal of the programme is to improve the economic and social wellbeing of smallholders through the promotion of environmentally sustainable tree crop systems.
