Kitchen stoves in Kalikot (Clean Cooking Stove Solution)

This is 2nd phase after successful installation of 48 improved Cooking Stoves in pilot phase. 

The project aims to contribute to improve the health status of women and children by providing improved kitchen stoves. The outcome is reduction of firewood consumption and contribution to the reduction of diseases caused by smoke during cooking and heating. In this phase, 80 ICSs will be installed in the local households of Mahawai Rural Municipality. 

The project is under implementation in Mahawai Rural Municipality of Kalikot District in financial support of Ecohimal Gesellschaft für interkulturelle Zusammenarbeit e.V and Mahawai Rural Municipality.
