Climate Change Adaptation Programme -Phase II is under implementation for 3 years in financial support of The Glacier Trust, UK to improve sustainable rural livelihoods through the promotion of Agroforestry, tree cropping and linking to market of the produces. The programme was designed and is intervened on the foundation of the achievements derived from the Deusa Agro-Forest Resource Centre (DAFRC) and Sustainable Tree Crops (STC) Programme implemented for 9 years from 2014.
The project has three components:
1. GREEN REVOLUTION- GO GREEN SOLUKUMBU- Seedlings production in collaboration with DAFRC - FIVE FINGERS APPROACH ON PLANTATION - 4FNs - support rootstocks and seeds
2. LOCAL PRODUCTS PROCESSING AND FINAL CONSUMER PRODUCTS PRODUCTION
3. COFFEE AND CLIMATE - Promote DAFRC as coffee hub- coffee parchments, roasted coffee in packaging (simple roasting)
