Let’s wash our hands properly to break the chain of infection

EcoHimal’s response on COVID-19 continues: Last few weeks, we were focused on awareness-raising aiming to minimize the pandemic crisis via announcement through mike, radio program, posters, flex and social media.

Our recent response is tailored towards the communities in maintaining hygiene. 300 pieces of buckets with tap and 600 pieces of soaps are already at place to distribute. In cooperation with Mandandeupur Municipality (MDM), the buckets and soaps will be placed in the major places where people have to gather for essential and emergency purpose.

Respected Mayor of MDM, Mr. Tok Bahadur Waiba, has already initiated distribution of hygiene materials, considering the urgency of the hygiene maintenance and limitation on individuals’ movement for distribution in this lockdown period. Rest of the materials are in the process of distribution.
